Actor Manny Jacinto has expressed his excitement about joining the cast of 'Freakier Friday' alongside Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, describing the experience as "unreal."

Speaking at FanExpo San Francisco, Jacinto shared his disbelief at being part of what he calls the "Lohan-aissance" - referring to Lindsay Lohan's recent career resurgence. "I remember watching Lindsay as a kid, The Parent Trap, Mean Girls, and to be able to act opposite her was unreal," the actor revealed.

In the upcoming Disney sequel, Jacinto plays Eric Davis, a British restaurateur engaged to Lohan's character Anna. The story follows Anna, now a mother, as she prepares for her wedding while navigating a complex relationship with her daughter Harper, who's not exactly thrilled about her mom's new relationship.

The film also marks the return of Chad Michael Murray, reprising his role as Jake from the 2003 original. Jamie Lee Curtis has teased fans about Murray's involvement, stating emphatically, "Chad is in it. And boy, oh boy, is Chad in it."

Jacinto, known for his roles in 'The Good Place' and 'The Acolyte,' praised both his leading ladies, saying, "Jamie Lee Curtis - give it up for Jamie, because, like her acting, she's an incredible human being, they both are."

The original 'Freaky Friday' was a box office success in 2003, earning over $160 million worldwide. This new installment promises to bring back the beloved mix of humor and heart that made its predecessor a family favorite.

'Freakier Friday' is scheduled to hit theaters on August 8, 2025.
