Disney Branded Television announced that the hit preschool series "Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends" will return for a fifth season, continuing the web-slinging adventures of Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, and Miles Morales.

The show, which follows Team Spidey's collaborations with various Super Heroes, has proven to be a major success in introducing young viewers to the Marvel Universe while emphasizing values like friendship, teamwork, and problem-solving.

"The series represents the perfect fusion of Marvel and Disney Jr. storytelling," said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. "The response from kids has been incredible, and we're thrilled to keep delivering more action-packed adventures."

Currently in its third season on Disney Jr., the show is preparing to launch its fourth season this summer with an exciting new "Water-Webs" storyline. This upcoming arc will feature Team Spidey gaining water-themed powers and donning pirate suits for fresh adventures.

Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television and Marvel Animation, noted Spider-Man's enduring appeal across generations. "For over 60 years, Spider-Man has captivated fans of all ages. This series serves as a perfect gateway for children to explore the broader Marvel Universe."

The show is produced through a collaboration between Disney Jr., Marvel Studios, and Atomic Cartoons, with Harrison Wilcox, Bart Jennett, and Chris Moreno serving as executive producers. Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump contributes as composer and songwriter, including the show's memorable theme song.

Viewers can currently stream the complete first and second seasons on Disney+, with select episodes from season three also available on the platform.
