Actor Paul Mescal is giving fans a chance to own pieces from his personal wardrobe while supporting a worthy cause. The "Normal People" star is selling clothing worn during his recent Gladiator II press tour on the resale platform Vinted, with all proceeds benefiting Irish mental health charity Pieta.
The collection, available from December 16 through Vinted account @felicitykaystudio, features several notable pieces including a baby blue and orange Hades wool cardigan, an Extreme Cashmere striped jumper worn during an SNL shoot, and a custom hand-painted cardigan by emerging designer B.W. Marks.
Accessories are also up for grabs, including a black ERL cap emblazoned with "ACTOR" and a pair of Jimmy Choo boots. Prices range from £285 for the Hades cardigan to £800 for the Jimmy Choo boots, with potential total proceeds reaching £3,545 if all items sell at full price.
The sale aligns with Mescal's established interest in sustainable fashion, according to his stylist Felicity Kay. "Paul has always had a strong connection to vintage and pre-loved fashion," she notes. "He's often eager to rewear pieces we've styled before or items from his own wardrobe."
This isn't Mescal's first charitable fashion endeavor. In 2020, he auctioned off his character Connell's iconic chain from "Normal People," raising over €70,000 for Pieta's suicide prevention services.
The collection reflects Mescal's eclectic style, featuring both luxury pieces and unique archival items. Fans interested in purchasing should prepare for high demand when the sale launches on Vinted on December 16.
