Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has received a formal warning from Celebrity Big Brother producers after making offensive comments toward fellow housemate JoJo Siwa.

The incident occurred less than 48 hours after the 72-year-old Oscar-nominated actor entered the UK reality show's house. During an interaction with 21-year-old Siwa, Rourke made several inappropriate remarks about her sexuality.

When Siwa shared that she was in a relationship with a non-binary partner, Rourke responded with the comment "If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore." The situation escalated when he later stated he would "vote the lesbian out real quick" and used offensive language while requesting a cigarette.

After being called to the diary room, Big Brother producers issued Rourke a formal warning, stating his language was "offensive and unacceptable." He was informed that similar behavior could result in his removal from the show.

Following the warning, Rourke apologized to Siwa, acknowledging his "short fuse" and claiming he was "just talking smack" without malicious intent. "I don't mean nothing by it. I do mean it [sorry]. If I didn't, I wouldn't say it to you," he told her.

Siwa, who gained fame through Dance Moms and has since become a prominent social media personality, accepted his apology, telling him "I appreciate your apology."

The incident will air on ITV during Wednesday evening's episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
