A new lawsuit filed in New York alleges that music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs sexually assaulted and raped a young musician from Chicago after promising him a record deal in 2022.

According to the complaint, the unnamed accuser was approached by Combs' scout while performing in Los Angeles and invited to Combs' birthday party. After arriving at a private residence, the plaintiff claims Combs offered him a drink and discussed potential business opportunities.

The lawsuit states that after being led to a private room to view Combs' jewelry collection, the accuser began feeling unusual effects, suggesting he was drugged. The complaint alleges that Combs then exposed himself and pressured the plaintiff to perform oral sex, stating a record contract depended on his compliance.

When the accuser attempted to leave, the lawsuit claims Combs prevented his exit and forcefully assaulted him before leaving him incapacitated on a bed.

This case joins numerous other lawsuits accusing Combs of sexual misconduct, with the plaintiff being represented by prominent Houston attorney Tony Buzbee.

Through his representatives, Combs has categorically denied all sexual assault allegations, calling them "facially ridiculous" and "demonstrably false." His team expressed confidence that "the truth will prevail" through the judicial process.

The lawsuit emerges as Combs faces federal indictment on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial.
