Reality TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian has called for an emergency custody hearing with ex-husband Kanye West after learning about his planned meeting with controversial figures Andrew and Tristan Tate during a visit with their daughter North West.
According to reports, Kardashian immediately terminated North's visit with West after security personnel informed her that the Tate brothers were expected to arrive at the meeting location. The Tate brothers recently returned to the United States following sex crime allegations abroad.
The situation prompted an urgent mediation session between Kardashian and West, accompanied by their legal representatives, on March 14. The meeting addressed West's association with the Tate brothers, as well as North's recent appearance on West's new single "LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE," which also features Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The Tate brothers currently face sexual assault lawsuits in both the United Kingdom and United States, though they have not been convicted and maintain their innocence. Combs, who collaborated on West's track, is currently detained at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.
Kardashian's swift action highlights her concerns about protecting her children's wellbeing amid West's controversial associations. The outcome of the emergency hearing remains pending.
