Former "Music Man" co-stars Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were spotted sharing a romantic dinner in Santa Monica, California on Monday evening, marking their first public appearance as a couple.
The pair arrived hand-in-hand at the restaurant, with Jackman, 56, sporting a casual yet polished look in a dark jacket paired with a grey shirt and white jeans. Foster, 49, chose an elegant ensemble featuring a tan trench coat over an olive dress.
The dinner date comes as both stars navigate recent changes in their personal lives. Jackman announced his separation from wife Deborra-lee Furness in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage, while Foster filed for divorce from screenwriter Ted Griffin in October following a decade together.
Their connection appears to have deepened since starring together in the 2022 Broadway revival of "The Music Man." Just days before their dinner date, Jackman attended one of Foster's final performances in "Once Upon a Mattress" at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre, where he was seated alongside theater legend Carol Burnett.
The pair have consistently expressed admiration for each other's talents. At the 2024 Drama Desk Awards, Foster praised Jackman as "one of the greatest guys ever" and "an incredible costar." During a previous joint appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Jackman shared his respect for Foster's accomplishments, noting her impressive track record of six Tony nominations and two wins.
As they step into this new chapter together, Jackman is preparing for his upcoming concert series "From New York, with Love" at Radio City Music Hall, scheduled to begin January 24.
Representatives for both Jackman and Foster have not commented on their relationship status.
