Dave Coulier, beloved for his role as Uncle Joey on 'Full House,' has received the news every cancer patient hopes to hear - he is officially cancer free. The 65-year-old actor's victory over stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma was announced by his former co-star Candace Cameron Bure on Instagram.

The positive update comes approximately five months after Coulier's initial diagnosis in October 2024. Recent medical tests, including a biopsy of a lymph node in his neck and a PET scan, showed no signs of cancer cells.

Coulier's journey began when what seemed like a simple upper respiratory infection led to severely swollen lymph nodes. After medical testing, he received the shocking diagnosis of aggressive B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. "I went from having a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming," Coulier shared with PEOPLE.

Throughout his treatment, the actor maintained an optimistic outlook, particularly inspired by becoming a first-time grandfather. His son Luc and daughter-in-law Alex welcomed a baby boy on March 27, bringing joy during challenging times.

The 'Full House' cast demonstrated their support throughout Coulier's health battle. Co-star John Stamos wore a bald cap in solidarity, while Candace Cameron Bure regularly checked in on her longtime friend and colleague.

Coulier's wife Melissa played a key role in his recovery by developing a specialized nutrition plan. The actor's representative has confirmed his cancer-free status, marking a triumphant end to what Coulier described as "a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey."
