Television star Niecy Nash-Betts has set her sights on conquering the big screen in 2025. The accomplished actress shared her ambitious career goals during a holiday party benefiting the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, which she co-hosted with Adrienne Maloof.
"Becoming a movie star. Mother's mastered the small screen," declared Nash-Betts, 54, who has built an impressive television career with roles in hit series like Scream Queens, Claws, Grotesquerie, and Reno: 911!
When asked about her future silver screen persona, the actress playfully responded, "You gotta watch and see. Buy a ticket to my movie, honey!"
Nash-Betts expressed deep gratitude for her entertainment career, attributing her success to divine guidance. "I knew that the call on my life was to entertain, and I get up every morning and I live in gratitude that I get to do it every day," she shared.
The actress emphasized her commitment to sharing her success with others. "When I get a job, I make sure others eat from that blessing," she explained, highlighting her dedication to using her platform to create opportunities for others in the industry.
Beyond her movie star aspirations, Nash-Betts also revealed interest in potentially developing a one-woman show. "I've attempted to play with it a couple of times, but life sometimes is life-ing and it didn't manifest in that time," she noted, adding that she believes the right timing will present itself naturally.
