A new lawsuit filed in New York State Supreme Court alleges that Sean "Diddy" Combs sexually assaulted a woman after making threatening remarks and forcing her to drink at a Los Angeles club in 2016.

According to the complaint reviewed by PEOPLE, an unnamed woman states she was visiting Los Angeles in November 2016 when she encountered Combs and his entourage at Club Playhouse. When she declined a drink offered by Combs, he allegedly responded aggressively, saying "Bitch, I'm not asking you. Drink that s--- and shut the f--- up."

The complaint details that after feeling pressured to consume the beverage, Combs allegedly hugged her from the side and sexually assaulted her, making additional threatening remarks. When she tried to resist, he reportedly laughed at her distress before eventually letting her leave.

The woman claims she became disoriented afterward and required hotel staff assistance to reach her room. The next morning, she discovered physical injuries consistent with assault, according to the filing.

This lawsuit joins numerous other legal actions against Combs alleging sexual misconduct. The rap mogul faces federal criminal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, to which he has pleaded not guilty. He remains in custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail three times, with a trial scheduled for May.

Through his attorneys, Combs maintains his innocence, stating he "has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone." His legal team emphasizes that anonymous claims don't change their position and express confidence in prevailing through the judicial process.
