A burglar broke into Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $8.4 million Beverly Hills mansion on February 14, adding to a recent wave of high-profile break-ins across Los Angeles.
According to police reports, the intruder gained entry to the seven-bedroom property by smashing a window while the celebrity couple was away. An employee arriving at the home interrupted the burglar, who fled the scene immediately.
Kidman and Urban were not present during the incident - the actress was in Las Vegas with her husband, who was performing as part of his High and Alive world tour. The couple has yet to return to assess if any items were stolen from their property.
The break-in occurs amid a series of burglaries targeting celebrity homes in the Los Angeles area, particularly those belonging to professional athletes. Just days after the incident, authorities arrested three suspects allegedly connected to a South American crime ring responsible for multiple high-profile robberies, including break-ins at homes belonging to NFL stars Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Joe Burrows.
While police are investigating potential connections between these cases, it remains unclear if the Kidman-Urban burglary is linked to the larger crime ring. Seven men have been charged in connection with the string of athlete home invasions, with several already pleading not guilty in Ohio courts.
The Beverly Hills property, purchased by the couple in 2008 for $4.7 million, serves as their main Los Angeles residence. Neither Kidman nor Urban has released an official statement regarding the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing as local authorities work to determine the full extent of the break-in and identify the perpetrator.
