As Adele's triumphant Las Vegas residency approaches its finale, the Grammy-winning singer opened up about the physical and emotional toll of her performances, declaring "I am battered after these shows."

The 36-year-old superstar, who began her Caesar's Palace residency in November 2022, has been performing back-to-back shows every weekend for nearly two years. The demanding schedule includes four hours of live singing each weekend, combined with her signature heartfelt interactions with the audience.

"I take every single person in this room into my soul, I take you home with me," the singer revealed to her audience. She detailed her post-show recovery routine, sharing that Mondays typically find her "bedraggled" after returning home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The "Hello" hitmaker admitted to requiring vocal rest for several days following her performances. "Sometimes I need it. Sometimes, I pretend I need it, so I don't need to talk to anybody," she candidly shared.

While expressing her love for the shows, Adele voiced her readiness for conclusion, describing the experience as "bittersweet." The singer, who shares a 12-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki and is engaged to sports agent Rich Paul, looks forward to focusing on family life.

"I'm going to miss [the shows] terribly," she admitted, "but I'm very ready for them to be over... I'm looking forward to having loads of spare time to love on my kids, to love on my man, and to love on another kid."

The residency, which reportedly earned the singer $100 million, concludes on November 23. As for her post-show plans, Adele humorously shared her immediate priority: enjoying red wine, which she's avoided during the residency due to its effects on her vocal cords.

"Saturday night [the last show], I'm probably going to have a [lot] of red wine," she revealed, adding that she plans to "really, really veg until the end of the year."
