Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx and Alyce Huckstepp have ended their relationship after dating for approximately a year and a half, multiple sources confirmed exclusively to PEOPLE magazine.

The couple, who began dating in August 2023, were last seen together in public on October 30, enjoying a romantic beach stroll in Mexico. Prior to that, they were spotted having dinner in Los Angeles on September 28.

Huckstepp played a supportive role during Foxx's recovery from a serious health crisis in April 2023. The actor recently revealed in his Netflix special "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was..." that he had experienced a brain bleed leading to a stroke during that period.

While the couple maintained a relatively private relationship, with Huckstepp avoiding public events, she was present behind the scenes. During the filming of Foxx's BetMGM commercial last July, sources noted her presence on set, describing the couple as "cozy" together.

The breakup news comes during a particularly active period in Foxx's career. The actor recently released his Netflix special, and his latest film "Back in Action" debuted on January 17. Sources close to the actor indicate he's maintaining an optimistic outlook despite the split.

"Jamie is super busy just the way he likes it," a source revealed. "He has so much going on he barely has time to stop and think about how blessed he is." The source added that Foxx "has been having a great time" despite the relationship's end.

Representatives for Foxx have not yet commented on the separation.
