Daniel Stern revealed his enduring friendship with Home Alone costar Joe Pesci remains strong after more than three decades. In a recent interview, Stern, 67, shared that he and Pesci, 81, make time to meet annually, maintaining their bond that began long before their iconic roles as bumbling burglars Marv and Harry in the beloved holiday films.

The actors' friendship dates back to 1982 when they first worked together on "I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can," playing mental institution patients. Though their scenes were ultimately cut from the film, their connection lasted well beyond that initial collaboration.

Stern spoke warmly about Pesci's lesser-known talent as a jazz vocalist. "If you really want to know who he is, listen to his music. He is the most brilliant jazz singer," Stern praised his friend's musical abilities. "He's got this beautiful tenor voice. He makes me weep when he sings these kinds of Sinatra songs."

Both actors have chosen quieter lives away from Hollywood's spotlight. Stern now resides on a California ranch, where he grows tangerines and creates art that he describes as an "extension of the human condition." Similarly, Pesci maintains a low profile, splitting his time between New Jersey and other locations.

The pair's enduring friendship shows how their connection transcended their memorable roles in the Home Alone franchise, with Stern referring to Pesci as a "dear friend" despite their different lifestyles and geographic distance.
