Former "Home Improvement" actor Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested Thursday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on charges of second-degree domestic violence, marking his third domestic violence arrest in recent years.

According to the Horry County Sheriff's Office, Bryan was taken into custody on January 1 after police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at a residence. Officers determined a physical altercation had occurred. Bryan's mugshot showed visible injuries including cuts on his face and a mark on his forehead.

The 42-year-old actor, best known for playing Brad Taylor on the 1990s ABC sitcom "Home Improvement," remains in jail with bail set at $10,000.

This latest arrest adds to Bryan's growing list of legal troubles. In July 2023, he was arrested in Eugene, Oregon on domestic violence charges, resulting in a seven-day jail sentence. He previously faced similar charges in October 2020, which led to a guilty plea and 36 months probation.

Beyond domestic violence incidents, Bryan has recently faced multiple DUI charges. He was arrested for driving under the influence in Oklahoma in October 2024, where he reportedly apologized to officers for "liking to drink." Months earlier, he was charged with DUI in California.

Under South Carolina law, second-degree domestic violence charges typically indicate the accused caused or could have reasonably caused moderate bodily injury to a household member.

Bryan's representatives have not responded to requests for comment regarding the latest charges.
