Former "Home Improvement" actor Zachery Ty Bryan faces new legal troubles after his third arrest in the past year. Bryan, known for his role as Brad Taylor in the popular 90s sitcom, was taken into custody on January 2 in Myrtle Beach on domestic violence charges.
According to police reports, the alleged victim, who shares a child with Bryan, reported that the actor punched her multiple times on the left side of her face. She also alleged that Bryan choked her, impeding her breathing and causing her to fear for her life.
Bryan was released the following day after posting a $10,000 bond. This latest incident adds to his growing list of legal troubles. The former child star was previously arrested twice in 2024 for driving under the influence, in February and October. He also faced domestic violence charges in July 2023.
This pattern of arrests raises concerns about Bryan's personal struggles since his days as a child actor on "Home Improvement," where he portrayed the eldest son of Tim Allen's character from 1991 to 1999.
Law enforcement officials have not released additional details about the current case or potential court dates.
