As devastating wildfires continue to rage across Los Angeles, actress Angelina Jolie has stepped up to help those affected by opening her Los Feliz home to friends forced to evacuate.

"Angie is heartbroken for those who have lost their homes, or are impacted by the fires," a source told PEOPLE magazine. The 49-year-old actress was recently spotted with her son Knox purchasing supplies, including bottled water and groceries, to support those staying at her residence.

When asked about her relief efforts, Jolie stated, "Right now I'm taking care of the people close to me and having them at my house." She also confirmed plans to contribute to broader fire relief initiatives.

The current wildfires, which began in the Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, January 7, have become one of Los Angeles' most destructive natural disasters. Officials report approximately 10,000 structures have been destroyed between the Palisades and Eaton fires in Pasadena. The disaster has forced more than 80,000 people to evacuate, including several celebrities like Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, and Anna Faris.

Other Hollywood figures have also joined relief efforts. Halle Berry and Sharon Stone are donating clothing to those who lost belongings, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have similarly opened their Montecito home to displaced friends. Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest pledged $1 million to support victims.

As of Friday, January 10, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner reported 11 fire-related deaths under investigation.
