In a tense confrontation caught on camera outside his New York City residence, actor Alec Baldwin threatened violence against a comedian who was impersonating former President Donald Trump while taunting Baldwin about the tragic "Rust" shooting incident.

The heated exchange occurred Monday when comedian Jason Scoop, dressed in a navy suit and blonde wig, approached Baldwin as he unloaded luggage from an SUV. Scoop, mimicking Trump's speaking style, offered Baldwin a "total pardon" for "murdering that woman" while referring to the accidental shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the "Rust" movie set in 2021.

After enduring several minutes of provocative comments about the shooting incident, Baldwin confronted Scoop face-to-face, saying "If this camera wasn't here, I'd snap your f****** neck in half and break your f****** neck right here." Baldwin also threatened to "shove that camera up [Scoop's] a**."

The 66-year-old actor, who famously portrayed Trump on "Saturday Night Live," appeared particularly agitated when Scoop continued the impersonation near Baldwin's family residence. "You realize my kids live in this building?" Baldwin asked before issuing his threats.

The confrontation comes months after Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter case related to the "Rust" shooting was dismissed in July 2024. Actor Alec Baldwin has filed a civil lawsuit against prosecutors and investigators following the dismissal of involuntary manslaughter charges in the fatal "Rust" movie set shooting incident. The actor has maintained his innocence, stating he did not pull the trigger and was unaware the prop gun contained live ammunition.

Baldwin's representatives have not responded to requests for comment about the incident.

The video, which has been widely shared on social media, shows Scoop maintaining his Trump persona throughout the encounter, even after Baldwin's threatening remarks, continuing to mock the actor's reaction as a "class act."
