Cori Broadus, daughter of rap icon Snoop Dogg, recently opened up about her journey to finding true love and the challenges of introducing potential partners to her famous father.
In a candid interview with Bossip, the 25-year-old reality star revealed that bringing boyfriends home was an intimidating experience. "It was scary because my dad is who he is, and the boys I was dealing with weren't the best," Broadus explained. She emphasized that meeting her father was a privilege reserved for special relationships, stating, "You had to really mean something to me to meet him."
Broadus, who is now engaged to photographer Wayne Deuce, admitted she previously didn't believe marriage was in her future due to past unhealthy relationships. "I'd been so used to toxic relationships — going through phones, high adrenaline from fights, dealing with drama," she shared.
Her relationship with Deuce, whom she met at a party in 2018, marked a turning point. "Wayne was different. He loved me — all of me," Broadus said, though she acknowledged the adjustment period. "It was uncomfortable at first, because I wasn't used to that kind of peace. But he's my safe space, my person."
The couple's love story is now being showcased in "Snoop's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Story," a three-part docuseries on E! that follows their wedding planning journey. Deuce proposed to Broadus in November 2022 after nearly five years of dating.
Beyond her personal life, Broadus continues to pursue her creative passions. She recently released her debut EP, "Journals to Johnny," featuring six tracks produced under Death Row Records.
