Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay reportedly ended his friendship with former co-star Gino D'Acampo two years ago due to concerns about D'Acampo's alleged inappropriate conduct, according to inside sources.
The two chefs, who previously co-hosted the popular ITV series "Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip" alongside Fred Sirieix, are now "no longer on speaking terms" following what sources describe as a "fractured" relationship.
"Gordon was horrified with what had gone on and felt it was time to step in and stop it," an insider told MailOnline. "He has three daughters and a wife, Tana, who he absolutely adores and felt it was disgusting."
The revelation comes amid recent allegations against D'Acampo, 48, who faces multiple accusations of sexually inappropriate and "distressing" behavior on TV sets spanning 12 years. D'Acampo has "firmly denied" these allegations, describing them as "deeply upsetting."
In 2023, D'Acampo announced his departure from "Road Trip," citing contractual disputes. He later partnered with Sirieix for a new travel show, "Gino and Fred: Emission Impossible," which follows their eco-friendly adventures through Austria and Croatia.
ITV has since suspended its relationship with D'Acampo, removing scheduled repeats of his shows and canceling new episodes of Family Fortunes.
The Standard has reached out to representatives for Ramsay, D'Acampo, and ITV for comment on the situation.
