Greg Grunberg has been in New York for the upfronts for NBC- not for Heroes but one of their sitcoms- Love Bites in which he has a cameo along with Craig Robinson ( Cookie in the Shrek movies). In this clip from the show Greg and Craig see Jennifer Love Hewitt- who is also out of work thanks to the news this week that CBS has canceled Ghost Whisperer. Ali Larter talks about Heroes and its possible return

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Heroes is one of the shows that is at this point still a big question mark as to whether or not it will return for another season. NBC aired its final episodes before the winter Olympics and it’s status is STILL up in the air while its home network tries to recover from their programming disasters that have pulled them into a murky swamp of muck. When shows on your “major” network are pulling in numbers not much higher than the CW you know you don’t have must see TV. Heroes even with a decline in viewers pulled in over 5 million each week this year which is not bad for a primetime science fiction series. Is it enough to get a final season? I think Ali Larter was right at Wonder Con that they may give it 12 episodes to wrap the show. The show stands right now with 88 episodes in the can. The writers strike cut season 2 short so giving the series 12 episodes would push it to the magic 100 episodes needed for full syndication rights. The show sells very well overseas and syndication would guarantee NBC Universal an ongoing revenue stream from the series for years to come. What do you think? I think if they do come back I want to see a lot of dangling stories wrapped and I want some real resolution to some of our core characters major conflicts.
