As you have probably noticed- Multipleverses has launched an all new look to our site this week. I have tidied up our layout by switching to a two column format and have consolidated our side content. Please check out our new video widgets- feel free to snag them and embed on your own sites/ social networking profiles. You can grab a widget/ linkback for our news by checking our links page or just installing the nifty widgetbox widget here.
Photo galleries update
First- thank you to all of our readers who have continued to send us your generous donations. I am working on getting our galleries reloaded and hosted elsewhere. It takes time but I am pleased so far with the results.
This week I managed to our BSG Gallery online as well as Supernatural and Dollhouse- check our Photos page for all links as I will update them there and on our toolbar.

If you haven’t downloaded- please check out the Multipleverses toolbar- I have put links to all of our sites and resources in one place for easy access. In addition- you can search the web and our site super fast using it. It is one of the best firefox add ins I have ever seen. There is a chat room that you can use for talking to other fans or to set up times to chat with friends. I use the mail monitor all day long along with the quick site links. You can download multiple toolbars made with the CONDUIT system I have built this on and they all work together using next to no resources on your system and they are updated regularly!

Multipleverses TV & Movie Talk Forum LAUNCHED!
Along with our regular site updates news- I have some really big news to share. I mentioned last week that we are doing something different with our photos archives- well as of today you can now access our archives in our new MULTIPLEVERSES TV & Movie Talk( MTMT) forums. This new forum is where all of our archives are being loaded for Multipleverses and our sister site TheEntertainmentHotline. You will find additional photos there that we have not posted elsewhere along with photos from members.
What makes MTMT different from other entertainment forums? Well- you can talk about any movies or shows that you want to and the boards are 100% family friendly. We are only allowing the use of photo hosts that do not enable porn web ads- this means you can safely view our boards at work and they are fine for younger readers.
If you have a fan site- sign up! You can put a listing for it in our fansite listings areas! As always our photos are unmarked with fan site markings so you can snag them to use in artwork or on your own site. It is all about sharing and having fun!
Screencaps and many photos are available in zip files for speedy downloading- no clicking through hundreds of photos to download them all.

Multipleverses now has a place for fans to talk about Supernatural
The first forum ever in the Multipleverses family was Clois Creative Corner- a Lois & Clark Smallville Shipper site with a strong focus on the creative side of our fandom. This week CCC has undergone a makeover. We are now Clois & Supernatural Creative Corner.
Our boards are for fans of the show who enjoy watching both brothers and seeing the storylines play out. We have a lot of members who have made some gorgeous fan art and we of course share pics , news and reviews. My friend Jenny who runs Hunters Addict has been a long time member.
I actually started watching Smallville when Jensen Ackles joined the cast- and my obsessive fandom for Smallville took off from there. When the news about Supernatural was announced I was very excited- not only were many of the creative people from the X-files involved by Jensen too! I may have a soft spot for Jensen but we love Jared every bit as much and Erika is totally into Misha as our angel Castiel. Come on over, sign up and chat about both of your favorite Thursday night shows in friendly environment where bickering is not allowed but you can have an opinion! ( read my essay on why Ruby sucks for an example of this).
We are looking for folks to share fan fiction and fan art- so all of you Livejournal artists and writers- stop by and introduce yourself! We will be putting together an archive for Supernatural fan fic as our collection grows. Right now we have some of the best CLOIS fan fic online.
Update from Kate , Chief Editor and Webmaster Multipleverses
As any of you who have visited our site regularly know- we have maintained one of the biggest photo galleries online- much to our hosting company’s dismay. I have been working all week to move our photos to new servers and Erika and I are working dilligently to get our photos up so you can view them without our having to worry about our main site being shut down. Thank you for the generous donations we have received so far! All money is going to server bills and to pay for our photo subscriptions that allow us to bring you the many photos we share here. I am hoping that by this summer we will be able to get our own server and a new commercial image management system in place to replace our gallery completely. Until then….
Coming soon- new special galleries for many of our top shows that we cover here on MV- you can preview our Prison Break and 24 Galleries right now- Dollhouse, Supernatural and Smallville will be coming soon!
We are launching our own photo sharing site- we have no interest in becoming the biggest photo site online, but we want to have the best tv and movie photos available. We will be including photos from the shows covered here on Multipleverses plus our sister site TheEntertainmentHotline. We are busy loading all of our pics and posting them before announcing the new site info- but we wanted to let know what is coming!
One of my big gripes about photo sharing sites is the use of free image hosts that slam you with porn ads. Our boards are 100% family friendly and porn free. In addition to this- I have a new photo hosting site that allows viewers to download galleries of photos in zip files right from the gallery. I am loading my Smallville and Heroes episode photos to this site so you will be able to snag them for yourself with ease from Rapidshare. Rapidshare has changed their rules so you can download more from them with a free account. Additionally- look for screencaps and UHQ photos available in zip files on RS and Megaupload- we only use long term hosting sites for file downloads so you don’t have to worry about dead links.
If you run a fan site, or are just a devoted fan and have a library of unmarked tv or movie photos and screencaps you wish to share- shoot me an email ( multipleverses.com at gmail.com) and I will send you links to our new forum boards so you may add your collection to our new photo sharing community. HQ and LQ photos are fine- we understand you can’t always get everything HQ.
As a new announcement, I am a moderator on an excellent site- TVFreeload and I manage the celeb interviews and videos area. Feel free to register and check it out! I have been loading my video interview archives. You can go directly to it from the TVFreeload toolbar. I will be making some big updates to our own toolbar soon- no worries- it will update automatically for you. If you haven’t installed the toolbar- I suggest you try it out. It is slim and works wonderfully with both Firefox and IE. Click HERE to download it.

This weekend I added some new old shows to our gallery- these are ones not seen terribly often and you should find some gems in our archives! I have included along with our gallery links, news about DVD releases for these series- several of which are becoming available in the US for the first time later this year, several others are available at last!
