Phoenix Comicon is proud to announce Amanda Tapping will be attending Comicon 2013. Born in England, raised in Canada and dubbed the Grand Empress of Sci-fi by her legion of loyal fans, Amanda is one of the most recognized actors working in television today.
Tapping played Samantha Carter on the long running Sci-fi series Startgate SG-1. She later reprised the roll on the spinoff Stargate Atlantis. More recently Tapping worked on the SyFy channels series Sanctuary. Where she not only starred in the series but acted as the show’s executive producer. She also appeared in several episodes of The CW’s show Supernatural. This year she played lead roles in the films “Taken Back”,”Random Acts of Romance” and “Space Milkshake”.

Behind the camera Amanda has been Executive Producer on “Sanctuary “and directed episodes of “Stargate SG-1” and “Sanctuary”. She is currently directing episodes of “Primeval New World” and Arctic Air,” and a music video for Ta’Kaiya Blaney.

Andrew Hussie is the creator of MSPaintAdventures.com; A popular web comic site. His most notable comic is Homestuck. Over the last few years Homestuck has become one of the largest webcomics; with over 5,000 pages published and a readership well into the millions.
Vic Mignongna has voiced characters for popular Anime series such as; Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, and many many more. He won an award for Best Actor from the American Anime Awards for his role as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alcgenust.

Phoenix Comicon is proud to announce Mike Mignola, Greg Capullo, and Neal Adams will be attending Comicon 2013.

Mike Mignola is best known as the creator of the popular series Hellboy. He has worked on many comic series including Daredevil, The Incredible Hulk and Illustrated the iconic cover of Batman: A Death in the Family.
Greg Capulloa is a comic book artist and penciller know for his work on Quasar, X-Force, Angela, and Spawn. He also published his own comic with Image Comics called The Creech. He has worked closely with Image Comics, doing the cover art and pencilings for many image Comics.
Neal Adam’s helped bring DC comics out of the silver age. He modernizes many of the most iconic super heroes like Superman, Batman and Green Arrow. Adams has been inducted into both the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame, and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame.
Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture experience of the southwest. Comicon is presenting guests and programming for hobbyists by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, tv, and gaming industries. Entering its eleventh year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 40,000 attendees to its May 23-26, 2013 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency in Downtown Phoenix.
