Variety reports that the upcoming new series The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural will be premiering on Sept. 10 with the teen vamp show premiering in the hour currently housing Smallville. Smallville will premiere on Sept 25 with the two Fridays before it housing repeats of the network’s new dramas until the Smallville premiere. Shiri Appleby’s new disfunctional family drama will join the schedule mid-year after Smallville.
We have some video spoilers for the new Vampire Diaries. I am a little disturbed and worried about how I will be able to abbreviate the show- Supernatural is usually designated by SN or SPN- but calling a teenage drama of any sort VD is just unseemly. Anyone have some good suggestions for this dilemma?
