This week on 24 we read ahead that a death was coming- but somehow I thought it would be Agent Pierce who took the bullet- I was not expecting to see Bill Buchanen take one for the team and sacrifice himself so Jack could save the president and stop the rest of the terrorists that are still working their evil doings beyond Juma. James Morrison joined the 24 family in season 4. Bill was always the good guy and the least weasely of the directors we saw come and go as director of the CTU. His heroism this week on top of his working dilligently to uncover the corruption that led to the terror plot that is running through this season were one and the same. Being a patriot isn’t always about carrying a gun, and its not a single act of bravery- with Bill Buchanan it was a way of life and his purpose.  Jack isn’t the only one to miss you Bill!
