Heroes is back on my watch list – the new chapter has been definitely more interesting. I am loving the kid
who has joined Sylar on his little roadtrip to find his father….I have a feeling when he does he will get more than he expects from dear old Dad being played by John Glover. This week Claire bucked against her father and his attempts to control her and outed his involvement with Nathan’s program to her mom. I had said earlier that the one character whose growth I liked seeing in the Villains chapter was Sandra Bennett- well that stands. She kicks Noah out when she finds out he is lying to her again. She has more than shown she is capable of handling the secrets around their family. Heck- she risked everything to help Claire save her bio mom!
Meanwhile back in D.C. Nathan and his band of very unmerry men are having some funding troubles and someone is foiling their plans by giving their subjects a heads up too often when the new division is moving
in. On top of apprehension roadblocks, Moira Kelly ( Toe Pick!) comes on the scene with the purpose of reeling the new agency in and cutting their funding….until she gets a very scary demonstration thanks to Tracy of how dangerous some of these individuals are. Nathan realizes his hunter allowed this to happen and can’t really do anything about it since if he does- the hunter will take out Claire. Yes that is right- Nathan is now officially a two faced hypocritical douchebag- like he was in season 1! Oh the joys of politics and politicians. The title for this week’s episode is Building 26- named after the building the hunters are working out of and holding people in. A new nasty place to take over from the Company facility in Odessa, Texas.
On the road— Sylar is not sure how he feels with a protege. He tries to cut the young man off but sees the
hunger for acceptance and does not kill him or push him away but rather saves his life. The two together make a pretty scary team. It is so strange seeing Sylar as this pseudo big brother- and you can feel he feels it too. I love Zachary Quinto – he is why I tune in every week. It takes a lot of work to make a bad guy so darned appealing.
On the otherside of the world- Hiro and Ando have an adventure. I personally am ready for Hiro to grow up some. I like his enthusiasm for doing what is right, but I’d like to see some maturity finally. Ando has it. I
guess Hiro is just a bit slow now that he can’t bend time….
Claire is getting secret text messages that lead her to save a young aquaman who can breathe under water….the same secret person sends a message to the guys in India too telling them to head back to California. Our final scene has the big boys chapter of Mohinder, Matt and Peter drugging HRG and hauling him off which will lead into next week’s episode.
