The CW is trying something new this season with Smallville and Supernatural- they are running these brief interviews with the showrunners to talk about each episode. They may not do other promotions for the series but this is at least something and personally I like hearing the producers’ take on the action.
Here is Eric Kripke talking about the second episode of season 4- entitled “Are you there God- its me Dean Winchester”. I am pretty certain Sera Gamble will be behind the writing on this one. Anyone familiar with the Judy Blume book “Are you there God its me Margaret” will recognize the word play in the title. I think Dean will be looking for more than how to cope with growing up and experiencing ahem physical changes.
As a Supernatural bonus- A.J. Buckley was the CW/ Supernatural representative at the Emmy parties this weekend attending the EW party on Saturday night. A.J. can be seen in the episode from last season Ghost Facers. Dustin Millegan who had a gay crush on him can now be seen on the new CW series 90210. 90210 fans btw are already hoping Dustin’s character will be gay….
