This is the movie star I have been waiting to see come to primetime TV! I LOVE Christian Slater. His gravelly voice, skillful delivery, ability to emote feelings of compassion and menace in a single swift scene are part of what has always drawn me to him. Pump Up The Volume where he played a shy, quiet , introverted nerd by day and then Harry Hard On shock jock by night is one of the best teen rebellion films of all time. People talk about Heathers all the time- Christian shared the screen with Winonna Rider in that one but Pump Up the Volume was very much HIS film. He has grown into more adult roles playing everything you can imagine and I cannot think of anyone better to play a man with a split personality who shares his life between being a badass spy and a suburban dad.
