If the writers can improve the quality of the story-telling for season 8 (as it's rumoured to be the final season), and focus on Clark's journey to becoming Superman, then Lois Lane should be a pivotal part of that, not Chloe, not Lana and not (as much as I enjoy having him on the show) the Green Arrow/Oliver Queen. If Smallville's watch-word was quality, then I'd say lets get Erica Durance in as many episodes as possible, but if we're going to be subjected to the same disappointing crap we had to put up with last season (and the season before), then perhaps Erica is better off with sticking to a limited number of episodes. anniem Erica Durance’s portrayal of Lois Lane is one of the few highlights of Smallville, over the last few seasons.
